The purpose of this event is to encourage proper communication and handling skills from human to canine. Through this education we can hope to prevent unwanted injury to humans and unnecessary euthanasia of sound animals due to the lack of knowledge.

Fun was had by friends, family, children and don’t forget the Dog! We watched an obedience and personal protection demonstration with handlers and dogs at all different levels illustrate how successful training can be. Food vendors were available as well as good family entertainment. The Etowah Humane Society was there with information on pet adoptions. Trainers were available for any questions regarding your canine and offered free evaluations all day.
